I tried to post, but all my data regarding Tejon Pass (rapidly unlocking area) was lost in the process. I'm not going to take the time to type it all back in again, but believe me, the locks are being broken in the Tejon Pass area and the plates are ready to begin shifting. The pass is located at the intersection of the Garlock and San Andreas faults, the Big Pine Fault, and the Santa Gabrial Fault up from Hollywood area. It's also close to the Santa Ynez Fault (east) and the White Wolf Fault. Tejon Pass is located at 34.7N, 118.9W. Bob, I read your plate twist off theory, and it sounds like a logical possibility. After the locks are broken we could expect damage from the plates shifting anywhere along the west coast, along the Gorda, Juan de Fuca, Pacific, and North American plates. Take care, Billion
