Hi Lowell,

Frequently about two years ago when Andreanof Island had a quake within 3 days the Mendocino Triple Junction would have a quake. Could be far field triggering involved with this connection. So its an interesting spot to watch and see if there is activity in the next few days.

At 7:30PM PDT I got a moderately loud right ear tone lasting two to three seconds. That should be in the Bay area, most likely from SF to San Jose. So I'm just keeping a curious watch to see what matches this sound. The Bay area in general has been absent of regular activity and thus it throws me off. We sure have enough faults in this area to confuse anyone. LOL
