Hi All,

I had hoped to find the Old Faithful geyser in Yellowstone Park equiped with monitoring similar to the Calistoga Geyser in Calistoga, CA. Today I learned there is nothing of the kind there. The report is that this area is monitored for tectonic events, not geothermal volcanic events.

Though I have no way to explain this in the normal sense of explaining anything, but I have felt for a long time that activity in Yellowstone might be the key to seismic events in Helena, MT. As for now, the tie that binds by scientific equipment is in absense.

Oh well, perhaps one day....Petra
