Boy, am I jealous :-)

Inasmuch as this swarm has been going on since August 24th, I think before the terrorism issues came to life, someone could have said something. But even with the terrorist news, there is other news also. As Don said, his weatherman gives the daily seismic activity report for his area regardless of any other news. I used to enjoy the earthquake info with the weather when they did it on a TV station in SF, but they stopped a long time ago. It would be nice if every major station on the west coast did it and then it would keep people more focused on the hazard.

My friend on Whidbey can see Mt. Baker and she said prior to St. Helens erupting when St. Helens got active Mt. Baker would vent. So I don't think under current circumstances with higher than normal seismic activity in your area that Mr. Rainier would show some kind of display.

If you get the Seattle Times, please let us know if they run a story about Vancouver in the near future.
