Hi Lowell, Not those tones, but I had one long one last night at around two in the morning that lasted for 15 seconds. I told Don I thought it might be Olympia again and I only heard one tone and it was in my left ear. That only matches the largest of the five quakes today. I cannot hear small quakes that far away. The ones I heard yesterday belonged to Sierras and were from my right ear. Left is north, Right is east and south. But I see the pattern is continuing in the NW, just as I expected. I think it's going to continue until another large quake arrives and most likely that will be within a few months. Why do I say that? I think if the big popper was over, then the quakes would have died down, but its not doing that at all. There is a constant stream of quakes still occurring around Vancouver and so to me it says, be prepared for another round. It doesn't have to be that big, if its not so deep its going to spell big trouble. Now here's an interesting bit. For months now my house and garage have been getting lots of cracks all over. Today I discovered a whole new crack coming down the wall in the livingroom and another going from near side to side at the corner of the same wall. Then the real amazing part was when I went to get the newspaper across the street this morning. I turned to walk back and the seam in the sidewalk was obviously curved. That's new and its not good. The sidewalk seam runs north and south and the curve is from east to west. While a few cracks here and there can be expected on adobe soil, what I have now is showing an acceleration of movement, which all shows the RCF is locked up so tight that the peripheral area is taking the strain. I've lived in the Bay Area for many years in a lot of homes and have never seen anything like this in such a short period of time. I'm also not the only one who noticed home damage, its a hot topic of discussion at work. Like Don says, all we can do is sit back, put up our feet and wait. Petra
