WE were forbidden to distribute it but they had no control over Persinger. The brass didn't want the USGS associated with UFOs. I would recommend TrueBasic to anyone wanting to get started in programming. It's very clear in the DOS version. The Windows version is much tougher because it relies a lot on library routines whose functions are not visible. It's much like Visual Basic in that respect. It's also a bit pricy. You might consider Liberty Basic or Rapid-Q Basic. The latter is free! Excel is a spreadsheet and as such quite limited in format. Does a lot but only in IT'S way.
