Hi Lowell. I did think it was strange that there haven't been smaller quakes reported and wondered what that meant. I have another question for you. You mentioned that the noise is common with earthquakes. In February during the 6.8 Nisqually earthquake, there was lot's of noise here, but all of it was coming from things falling from shelves, the house creaking and groaning, etc. and outside it was unbelieveably quiet. I could see the power lines jerking around wildly and things swaying but there wasn't any sound. Is this because I was too far away from the epicenter or because of the depth of the quake or ? I would be interested in your input.
