Don, I too have been having auricual pain. I am now trying to relate it to some of our regional events, but in the past assumed it was an infection of some type, despite medical evaluation resulting in no clue to pain source. Mine is a stabbing pain, midddle ear, sometimes along with a congestion or "Wha-Wha" effect.It disappears as quickly as it manifests leaving no affter effects. Thanks for the posting...now I will be more vigilant in checking for external causes. Kathy
