Hi Makis. Thank you for your praise. It is greatly appreciated and welcomed. Receiving input from someone who is familiar with the forecasted area is a tremendous help. The more first hand data I have for any given area makes it a little easier in making an accurate forecast. Even then, this does not make it fool proof.

As you know so many seismic events are occurring all of the time and with that in mind, these other events can have a direct affect upon my forecast, which would have been posted days in advance. Inasmuch as I cannot issue an entire global forecast for one given day, one does have to make allowances for some events which can change the data I used when preparing my forecast.

While I am certain the data you have in Athens is far more accurate than some provided in the United States, one does have to be consistent in using certain data when assessing these forecasts. Lowell has been very generous with his time in keeping track of the forecasts and using the databases he prefers when making the matches. Therefore, it can be difficult if one has to search catalogs all over the world in order to be at the closest source to the epicenter. If you have any suggestions in this regard they would be very much appreciated.

Again thank you for your praise. Your offer of assistance in helping with my endeavors is more than welcomed.

Take Care…Don in creepy town
