Hard to say, Don. Strain takes awhile to get around. The strain caused by the rupture will concentrate where the rupture ended and will migrate from there. A number of recent papers have discussed triggering of additional events from these strain fields using Stein plots (maps of differential strain after an earthquake). My guess would be that long-term effects will certainly be occurring for many years, but might not be as noticeable as the short-term triggering that occurs on time-spans more compatible with mammalian brains.
