It appears I have been appointed - I know better than to argue with Petra and Don!!!
So here are the rules:
1. Each entrant in the contest must post within the next 3 days a date and time
when they believe the site will be visited by the 100,000 th visitor. Contest
entries will not be accepted after midnight on Monday, August 27, 2001.
2. The winner will be the person who is closest to the actual time that the
counter reaches 100,000. Canie will be in charge of determining when this
happens, as the caretaker of this board.
3. The winner will receive a box of the best store-bought cookies money can
buy along with a Seismicity Catalog CD-ROM.
4. Prizes will be sent by snail mail unless someone can find a way to fax
a box of cookies. Prizes will be provided by Lowell.
5. The decision of Canie on when the clock reaches 100,000 cannot be disputed.
