Hi George, Has your friend checked around with other companies in the type of business he is in to see how they prevent damage or what they use to prevent damage? Sounds like specialized equipment would be needed for something that big. Putting it on some type of rollers? Attaching it to wall studs doesn't seem like it would work as it would get great vibrations during a quake and the strapping is only to prevent items from falling. I'll check around for you and post a note to let you know what I find out. I'll ask a few of our friends at NASA what they use there.
