Hi Bob,

For me the reason for being has been answered. In my many years of trying to find out the reason the explanation I can live with is that Earth is a schoolhouse. Here we come to learn. Most of what we learn has to do with our interaction between others and ourselves. Knowing them, overcoming the challenges that they place before us and finding out if in the learning process we can resolve these conflicts and grow as individuals in the process.

Our interests in life bring us into different circles where we can meet those who we need to know. Finding our place is these associations is both warming to the spirit and yet can bring on conflict as well. However, in conflict we learn. We get to know another point of view and hopefully learn to respect that and know we don't always have to agree on everything.

I recently had a conversation with someone about the subject of truth. Truth is probably one of the most subject areas in life. With every experience we've had in life, we all see truth differently. Sometimes similarly, but always differently. This I find very fascinating because this shows us how truly individual we are. God I think was wonderful in his giving to us the ability to be different, appreciate that difference, allow us to think and grow as individuals and learn to respect one another.

There are no two stars in the universe that are the same, nor two people either. How often so many try to change us to be like themselves and hopefully we will keep that about us that makes us one of a kind, but in a family called the human race, that shall one day learn from adversity, grow, learn to love and truly appreciate our uniqueness and that of this little blue planet that circles the Sun, called Earth.
