This Jack Coles deal is way out of hand. Some folks are attacking each other without knowing all of the facts. And in this case, I don't think the facts need to be there.
I am in contact with Andy Michaels over many years. Andy is very much against the notion a person can predict EQ's so his attempt to figure out what methods Jack was using may have intimidated Jack into changing his mind about revealing.
I like Andy...He has helped me over the years...
I like Jim....he has some knowledge that many of us non-
scientists are not familiar with....Jim has a charismatic way and good voice...He knows that and uses it well on the radio...everybody has to make a living whether we agree with Jims methods or not.
I like Daniel. I have known Daniel for years. He indeed was one of the first to get inthe face of tradition on c.e and s.g.e usenet.
I don't know Jack, but am aware of his situation. It was public knowledge if anyone had access to a SF newspaper. Jack seemed to enjoy his ideas about EQ prediction. He seemed to me a likable guy. There isn't much to do when in his situation, so he continues to do what he liked, even though he violated other social rules and laws...
This name calling among people who agree at least on some points must come to an end.....Lets all stop this thread now and get back to the point at hand--- Basics says your all good people down deep and we need not argue our differences. And that means the others too! If you do not have an email reply address....then don't contribute anonymously....
