Dear Pat

All I know of you is the words you have posted on this board. But in them I have come to
know the warm hearted and kind person that you are. I am sorry to hear that your daughter
and you have had to suffer this all to common treatment. I know the feelings you are feeling
as my father was a very violent person.

Be strong, and you are right these things can not be accepted.

I pray for you and your daughter, and I pray for him. He can change because you have
the courage not to put up with it. My feeling is that you have done the right thing. I hope
that some of your kindness and a little of your warm heart have rubbed of on him.

I know that in time the wounds do heal.
