Yes - we had an outage - here is what my ISP sent:
On October 19, 1999 (yesterday), we experienced an outage affecting
Southern California customers from approximately 7 pm to 7:45 pm
Pacific time. The outage was due to a loss of power to core routers in
Irvine/Los Angeles. A technician in the colocation facility was
misinstructed to disconnect the power to our rack. We are taking
necessary steps to prevent this type of failure in the future.

Those clouds out there bother me to! There doesn't seem to be any activity south of us to be bringing them here. and nothing showing on radar shots.
