Dyan, I thought it was just me and the folks in this neighborhood. Living in such close quarters people tend to get testy. I went nuts on Tuesday after someone ran thru the school bus stop while she had her lights on and yet another kid almost got hit. I called 3 times last year & Tuesday. The response was "well, we have only two patrol cars". Oh, well, I guess Plan B is in effect. Me with a stop sign and a baseball bat in the middle of the street. A patrol car has been there when the busses come every day now!
Then Harrison almost got hit while crossing in a x-walk on his way home from me picking him up by a speeding teenager in a pickup truck. The guy was doing at least 40 in a 15MPH zone. Had my little buddy slowed down even a second he would have been hit. Mad Mama marched down the street with full intention of beating the snot out of this kid and talked to him instead. Ed will be talking to his dad tomorrow and the police are aware of it now. People are nuts, my animals are nuts, and the skunks are out in full force!!! I havn't had anything other than mild ear ringing still. Maybe my moods are taking up for it! Have a good weekend and Happy B'day to your daughter! Ijust celebrated mine yesterday on the 14th.
