Remember the movie Volcano ? - The one about a volcano under LA ?

I just read this on KFWB News:
Hydrogen sulfide (remember the smell of rotten eggs?) has now been detected in the toxic outgassing from the soil at the Belmont Learning Center campus-to-be just west of the LA Civic Center.

Its most likely just from oil pollution, but the first thing I thought of was 'Volcano' !
