Yes Pat I do believe it can and will happen at some point - there's a big question as to what to do if there is a warning out - I was discussing it with one of my customers this week. She's in Santa Clara - half of which was destroyed in Loma Prieta quake...

I guess if you knew it was coming you could stay out of dangerous buildings, sleep outside and make sure you had food and water.

I think some stuff is being done quietly - I recently found out there are at least 6 ULF antennas being monitor for signals - I don't know if the readings are publicly available or not...

All in all, I agree - someday it will be here Right now we just listen to those who post hereand elsewhere and keep at it! - at least we can let our friends know...
