Los Angeles's Air Quality has been superb this summer (this week may change that as it gets hotter) - We've had a very cool summer so no heat inversion layer to hold down the smog - we have had no stage 1 alerts which is Very Good ! (and almost unheard of!)

We still have a lot of smog - I'm not saying we don't, just that since we havn't had the heat, its been much better.

I'm sorry you are having problems in the Bay area - kinda backwards !
