Hi Diane, I agree that we could have a "sneak" quake waiting to happen. Taiwan and Bolinas were both sneak quakes. Not quakes in unheard of areas but unusual in the particular areas they happened.
Would really like to attend that USGS talk up in Oakland on October 14th when they unveal the new Bay Area risks. I know someone who is going and may hitch a ride up with him if possible.
