It does look like a triggered earthquake, doesn't it, but wait a while and see if it goes away. It is not uncommon with large earthquakes for local groups to locate the earthquake at a nearby epicenter where it really is just the farther earthquake. If this is the case, it would appear that the "triggered" earthquake corresponded exactly with the arrival of the P- wave from the original. The distance between these two events is 4.0 degrees and the time between the events is 1min 2 sec. The travel time of the P-wave is 1 minute 2 seconds for this distance. Sure looks to me like the Pine Flat earthquake is a ghost event - just a local misreading of the seismogram. I'll disappear soon from the charts. If not, it is either a unique example of P-wave triggering, or someone is not doing their job.
