Hi Lowell. I wished I could. I know there are times when foreshocks do seem to stand out from all others such as those before the Hector Mine quake, but even then I wasn’t 100% sure that they were foreshocks.

I did a search of the immediate area and found no quakes above 2.8. I found no swarms or clusters with the exception of 2 quakes in Oct. of 97. One was on the 3rd and the other on the 4th, which is not very indicative of a quake swarm. I ran the check from 1967, but found no quakes before1974/09/19 so the catalog is incomplete, or there were no quakes. I have to go with incomplete. The only real way I know that we can tell if these are foreshocks or not is to wait and see if and when the quake occurs.

So with that I’m just going to lean back and put my feet up and watch to see what happens. Take Care…Don in creepy town
