Mostly what I am trying to show is that you can "prove" just about anything if
you use the right statistics. A simple test obviously does not work here, it
requires a lot more sophistication, but if you want to believe that planning for
a nuclear test raises the seismicity, then you can back that up with a few
isolated facts. Of course, there are a lot more mundane, but less fun
explanations.
