Hi Lowell. It’s all part of the training I received as an analyst for the Air Force that you tax payers paid for and to some extent still paying for. I figured as long as your paying for it you might as well receive the benefits of my talents. I retain 98% of all the subject matter I read. I don’t retain the details. As long as I retain the subject matter I can find the details with little to no problems. I remembered the name of the pilot, the type of aircraft he was flying and the name of the mountain he crashed on. The first thing I did was eliminated the name of the mountain plus the fact that it was being call Gold Peak and Gold Dust Peak. To many stories can be connected to it. The second thing was the aircraft which was the A-10 Thunderbolt. That left the pilot whose name was Craig Button. I knew there wouldn’t be very many stories about different people named Craig Button. The only stories I found were related to the crash. As a check I combined the pilots name and the aircraft type and found additional stories. The trick is in knowing the subject matter be it a person, object, or an event. Dates can yield a lot of interesting data provided the date was a popular one. If it’s on the internet more often as not I can find it. Take Care…Don in creepy town.
