What, if any, significance has been studied regarding the sun's flip-flopped magnetic poles in about February or March? Since the eclipse apparently had strong effects on the seismic activity, I wondered if any study had been done on the changing of the solar magnetic poles as well. I didn't even know this happened until recently when I began researching the subject after the solar eclipse. It looks like this event happens every two hundred or so years I think but I'm sure someone out here knows alot more about it. Any suggestions on where to go to research this more?
