The second event has now been upped to a Mw 4.0. This area is not particularly
know for swarms of earthquakes in the Ml>=4 range. The last time there was
a swarm in this area with this many ML>=3.9 was August 10-11, 1982. A similar
swarm occurred on Sept. 23, 1972. None of these led immediately to larger
events. The maximum size of an earthquake in this area seems to be about
Ml 5.5-5.7.
