Re: My theory on S.CAL |
Hi Todd and All, I think you are on the right track Todd. My thoughts are for a 7.4 on the Santa Monica Fault at its most eastern segment. Don, you made a boo boo..history does indeed repeat itself in the same places. Just for one, let's look at the quake in India, the same place had an earthquake in 1910. Olympia WA is the same way. One of their past large shakers happened there, I think 1946 was the year. When we reference volcanos their eruptions happen in the same place as well. Sometimes with long periods in-between and with some others like in Hawaii, they are spewing lava over and over again. Though volcanos are in a class by themselves, it still takes heat in the bottom of the thing to make it go, so it either has to sit over the same heat source or a new one. Anyway Todd, good going, a two thumbs up from me...Petra Follow Ups: ● Re: My theory on S.CAL - Don in Hollister 08:08:43 - 6/30/2001 (8224) (0) |
