That night, Zima then returns to base for a game of BINGO with friends. As the evening wore on, a winning BINGO play was available to Zima but she missed it by placing the token on the wrong square.

One of Zima's friends had noticed the mistake but then had moved on to other thoughts without happening to mention the misplaced token. That night was a full moon and they all had a howling good time...as coyotes will do....

Moral 2: Sometimes when you think you are a Mongoose but are really a Coyote you luck out by having your "dinner" not make a dinner out of you....

Moral 3: Sometimes a token comment is overlooked because though it is obvious to some ... others find it hard to see.

I expect there are other lessons here too - any further revised endings?
