Re: Sew below (or here) for several more questions |
Hi: It looks like quite a flurry of exchanges going on here.... I plan on doing a study which covers the situation mentioned above (whenever I get a breather from my day job....). So...your answers should be forthcoming in the not too distant future...though it appears that the votes are already in from some quarters. Based on ng cross-talk it doesn't appear that just such a study has ever been done...especially in view of the results of analysis referred to previously. The guy using eclipses to predict earthquakes sure doesn't provide any support ...when you read the types of general predictions he has posted (presumably).... BTW, does anybody have a worlwide "fault line" catalog that I could use (text with lat/longs will work)? Also,I suspect the annular eclipse is of no consequence in this regard. With regards to studies already done all I can say is that they are probably as complete as they can be ... given the assumptions and data set used. Given that, it seems, there is no significance to be found here. Maybe that's what I will find when I complete mine. We'll see.... Regarding the Dodge: "In the still of the night you can hear it rust"! mark Ok...so the bumper sticker said FORD but I couldn't resist....
