Following is a list of earthquakes of Mw>=7.0 which were associated within
7 days of total or annular solar eclipses (from 7 days before the eclipse
to 7 days after) from 1500-2001 A.D. The earthquakes are arranged
regionally. No attempt has been made to identify those which occurred
in areas where the total eclipse was visible.
The format is:

Of some special interest to readers of this board is the event in
Charleston (which Don discussed last week in postings) which occurred

earthquake which occurred two days before a total solar eclipse.
