Ahhh...the really old ones. Well, not TOO old as they didn't have vacuum tubes. I'm fascinated by computer history, having literally grown up with a good part of it. There's several computer museums around I'd like to visit given the chance. BTW, after all these years of you working on your programs, I'd figure you'd be very fluent in PERL by now. You sound like you're struggling as much as I am, but I've hardly done any PERL at all. I only started learning it about 2 years ago, and probably have even spent a month of solid days working with it. I don't find working on the WWWBoard program difficult. I find reading and modifying existing code in a language I don't know well a lot easier than writing new code from a blank page.
