Ooooo... you did it the fun way. I never built a computer from that level of 'scratch', but I used to be a repair tech. So, I've done plenty of soldering, and unsoldering. Many years back I acquired a couple of old already assembled Heathkit computers. IIRC they used 8080 cpu's and CP/M os. They still worked when I got them in the early 90's, but have been sitting ever since. I've collected a few old computers. Now, besides 'assembling' PC's every few years, I just tinker with simple microcontroller electronics, or repairing stuff. Don't do as much as I'd like to, though.
