Confined to the house by winter storm "Euclid" and a nasty respiratory virus---I am reminded that a sense of proportion is vital. Both the "big thing" (the storm) and a very tiny thing (respiratory virus)have confined me to my home. I'm lucky to have hubby to care for me and many comforts. But the holidays have pretty much been cancelled here---too much snow has shut the highways on and off for days.

I ponder again that this would be a very very very bad time for the volcano to act up, although there is no sign of that.
