Alaska Earthquake – December 4, 2012 |
Alaska Earthquake – December 4, 2012 The following earthquake has just occurred: 2012/12/04 01:42:48 61.23N 150.72W 53 5.8 44km W of Anchorage, Alaska The chart below shows how I determine if an earthquake might have been responsible for the EM Signals that I work with. And the line peak shapes indicate that the Alaska earthquake was a good match with the most important EM Signal I have been watching. In theory there should have been strong line peaks at 151 W on both the earthquake and EM Signal line. But in reality that happens only part of the time. Partly because the earthquake itself did not have a line peak at 151 W it would probably have been impossible for my present computer programs to accurately identify the location where the earthquake would occur. It also had a lower magnitude than expected and was a little deeper in the crust than expected. That low magnitude is rather surprising to me. In any case, my December 1, 2012 Earthquake Warning was for a significant earthquake. And people in Alaska who felt that earthquake probably considered it to be significant! Quite a few strong EM Signals were detected in the past week or so. And the fact that there were so many probably indicate that more activity could be on the way. I am still expecting that there could be some in Western Pacific Ocean areas. These are personal opinions.
