As of right now there is no indication of a strain build up, but there has been a change in the strain at some of the data sites never the less. The traces are starting to flatten out at some of the data sites. Not sure as to what that may mean."

+ I checked the Gilroy site. I have a hunch that something else may be happening. I suspect there may be a gravitational anomaly at Gilroy right now...and that it may go away soon....

+ Assuming you are willing to humor me on this, can you tell me how to access any USGS gravitometer data from any nearby sites in the area ? If this is not possible, and I know this might be asking a whole lot but, any chance you'd drive up the road from Hollister to perform a "field expedient" gravity test (i.e. pendulum timing using improvised cable and weight hanging from a tree). I know it's a long shot and sounds crazy....
