Vanuatu Earthquake – October 22, 2012 It appears from the chart in my Earthquake Advisory the my computer programs did a good job of identifying the longitude of the following approaching Vanuatu earthquake: 2012/10/20 23:00:32 13.57S 166.60E 36 6.2 108km WNW of Sola, Vanuatu NEIS Data As I said in the advisory, people should be watching for possible seismic activity at locations on the top two lines of the chart where there were line peaks. The reasons that my charts will point to some approaching earthquakes and not others appear to be quite complex and apparently have a lot to do with the depth of the earthquake and the occurrence of solar storms that provide the original EM Signal energy. I have not heard that anyone was watching for an earthquake at 166 E. And that once again suggests that international forecasting efforts need to get much better organized. That is a project that is scheduled to get more attention after the November 6, 2012 Presidential Election.
