My answer to a question "Can EQ be predicted" is YES. But we must not measure the seismic waves, but stress waves. If we measure the seismic waves, we can see, what already happened. But, if we measure the stress waves, we can see, what will happen, because the EQ is the consequence of the deformation process and not its cause. We predicted 14 EQ since 2008 and our success was in 70%, but we are still learning. Unfortunatelly, not all of EQs will be predictable.
