Chris; This isn't making sense. I have a list of all mag 6+ quakes. I start with the first quake, check all subsequent quakes, eliminating any that are within 10 days and 1000 km and tallying the moon position for each. Then I move to the second quake and repeat. Since there are over 5000 quakes in the file there will be hundreds of thousands of moon positions, most of them duplicates. Moreover, those near the end will get short counts. What am I missing? This can't be what you want.
