Hi Mark,

The first is called Seismic Wave. Its a geological romance where a seismologist falls in love with a corporate attorney. He wants to predict earthquakes and in that the idea of earthquake prediction as I see it comes to life. It has a little of something for everyone. Love, "you know", trips to places of geologic interest, bringing earthquake prediction ideas to those who may want to try it themselves. I've already decided to create a sequel to it, so what lies ahead in the future for them and earthquake prediction can continue.

The the next on the list is the one I wanted to write in the beginning. Its at about the half way point and is called, "Earthquake Prediction For the Millenium", The seismologist's story. This is pure science about seismologists and others who have made contributions to earthquake prediction efforts. Its an independant review of what has been and what may lie ahead in the future.

However, for now, I've got romance, geology, and earthquake prediction to write and hopefully get into print rapidly. I want it done by the time the AGU comes to SF in mid December. Seems that's a lot to ask in the publishing business, but if I don't make it then, it will come out in early 2002.
