At Boston Logan airport (free Wifi!) headed to Trieste Italy to work on Ross Sea: sub-bottom imaging (seismic reflection) largely related to evidence for past ice sheets...but we will focus in the west where there is the active Terror Rift. The continuosly active Mt Erebus on Ross Island is part of Terror rift.
