Re: Earthquake Advisories – April 23, 2012 |
The following information has been posted here repeatedly. But people seem to like to selectively forget that it has been stated again and again. One of the main reasons for letting people know when these EM Signals are being detected is so that other earthquake researchers know that they should be checking their local precursor data to see if there is anything significant looking. There are no active fault zones anywhere near where I live. And if clear EM Signals can be detected here then in the areas of the fault zones where they are actually being generaged there should be clearly identifiable precursors. One of the most difficult parts of this process is knowing when it is time to be checking for those precursors. And my EM Signal data notices can help with. As expected, another earthquake researcher living in as different part of the world has confirmed that these types of EM Signals have been fairly active lately. Another section of the EPmap program has now been completed. However, there is still some work to do on the program before a download update will be available. These are personal opinions.
