I lived in the Santa Barbara area for 40 years...saw maybe 2 or 3 thunderstorms! However, since moving up here to the mountains, where storms were common in the past, have seen only one in six years. I am lightning repellent!! So, I left Santa Barbara 6 years ago, and now thunderstorms can move in there! The weather depends upon me, no doubt. If I were there, no storms. hehehe

Just idle thoughts on a day when we have eight inches of new snow on the ground!

I will, however, watch the quake monitors to see if that 4 plus occurs!
