Well, high yesterday was 85 deg, and at 5:30 this morning was 65. This is in the heartland at 39 deg N latitude. The normal high temperature is 30 deg less (F). I played tennis outdoors once or twice a week all "winter". We just went straight from 4 months of mid November weather to summer. Our first daffodils came out March 1, almost a month early, and they have all been out for the last few days. The Magnolias and Asian pears are blooming. This is all about a month early.

This is somewhere between weather and short term climate. It is really dramatic because here (and elsewhere including east coast) were very cold and snowy last year.
