two(?) M4.3 San Francisco-Oakland |
What, these did not wake anyone up? There were just two M4.3 quakes; the first on the Hayward fault with a focal mechanism, strike-slip, consistent with that fault. The other was to the west, in the Bay, with an oblique reverse focal mechanism. We will see whether the information changes; they just happened. Obviously bears watching. Did we lose our posters who used to link to strain guages etc? Any other precursory stuff to watch done by scientists? (I'm talking about regular monitoring by instruments).
