Quakes, etc. |
I too am wondering about the lack of aftershocks. As a rule, a few should occur, and these would be smaller than the first quake. That said--we never know IF a quake might be termed a "foreshock" and be an indication of a larger quake to come. I keep remembering the 1989 quake...there was a five or so quake a few weeks before that one, and I remember very few aftershocks for that quake. Maybe just my faulty memory here! It is always good to be aware of quakes if you live in Ferndale! Or lots of other places, for that matter.
