Re: UPDATE - November 28, 2011 |
Hi Roger, Up early I see. I can’t speak for Shan. But if you like, I could try contacting him to see if he will send along some information regarding his technology. Considering the fact that you generally don’t, in my opinion, approve of many forecasting methods if any, he might regard you as a somewhat hostile party. There is supposed to be a book coming out written by a group of scientists including one or more geophysicists that I believe provides some direct or indirect support for Shan’s theories. I read the “develop” version from cover to cover several times a while back. And I found it very interesting and actually understandable for the most part (considering that I am not a geophysicist). It takes a detailed look at theories for how tectonic plates formed from the beginning of time and also why they move relative to one another. The authors then attempted to show that one specific theory was the right one for why tectonic plates move around. According to what I have heard, the book is supposed to already be in print although it is apparently not yet available to the public. If it has been printed then I should be getting a copy myself within a few weeks and will be able to say more about it. Your recommended HTML editor, SeaMonkey got its first tryout with the development of the following Web page: http://www.earthquake-research.com/edg/Turkey-Aftershocks.html I am planning to post a note to another thread discussing that Web page.
