The latest is that after a 3 hour meeting the Italy trial parties have scheduled the next trail date to be October 1, 2011.

One report that I saw proposed that the trial might last from 6 months to 2 years. And I wonder why it would take them so long. Trials in the U.S. don't usually run that long as far as I am aware unless they are class action, murder, or corporate giant trials.
