While watching the news of the disastrous flooding in Louisiana and Texas
from Tropical Storm Allison I was reminded of a study which crossed my
desk some years ago correlating strong meteorlogically induced floods on the
Gulf Coasts of Texas and Louisiana with moderate earthquakes in California
(mostly Central California, if I recall) between 0 and 3 days later. I lost that
report in a move some time ago, so that is all I can say - just a vague memory
now.
