Just noted a quake near Reno yesterday. Missed me by one day since hubby and I stopped there on our return from Vegas. We drove through some of the dramatic country near Walker Lake, and right through the area that had some quakes a couple of weeks ago. I noted that the US Naval Station near Hawthorne has ammo depositorys there--as well as their Submarine HQ?? Great desert scenery, I had forgotten how great it can be. Hubby hates it--sleeps while I drive the I-95 corridor. Didn't anybody tell him NEVER to let the geologist drive? Oh well. The Board is quiet so thought I'd pop in. As for Vegas---forget it. Crowded, hot and expensive. AND...I didnt' win any money!
